Investigation of complex surfaces of propellers of vehicles by a mechatronic profilograph

INSTRUMENTS 4 – to make an express analysis of complex surfaces of products with rotary symmetry and to establish differences in the shapes of the blade surfaces by the deviation values in the longitudinal and transverse directions. Research method The designed mechatronic pro fi lograph is proposed as a device for studying complex surfaces of pro- pellers of vehicles (Figure 1). The pro fi lograph is designed to measure the pro fi le and to study the shape of complex surfaces of various products, as well as to determine the geometric and morphological parameters of these surfaces. The device made it possible to obtain a pro fi logram which estimates undulation, rough- ness and shape of the surface along the circular trajectory. It can be used in mechanical engineering, as well as in reverse engineering. Fig. 1 .
