Hot deformation didn’t significantly broaden the X-ray lines, but cold rolling did. The changes in the sample line profile after cold rolling confirm significant deformation hardening and increased crystal structure defects. Fig. 8 and Table 2 show the martensitic transformation temperature range (TRMT) measured by DSC after the different processing methods on ingot 2.
