Marksa, Novosibirsk, 630073, Russian Federation Abstract The current state of the industry in the country depends on many factors. A significant depreciation of fixed assets, low productivity of equipment and high energy consumption do not allow the Russian mechanical engineering to compete with other developed countries successfully. Therefore, re-industrialization of the country became an urgent task. We can solve the problem only due to the expansion of import substitution, and it leads to a number of problems throughout the life cycle of technological equipment. The problems arising at the stage of its creation can be divided into three groups: the first problem is a need to reduce time of machine design and fabrication, the second is improving the quality and competitiveness developments, and the third is the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of design ensuring of mechanical engineering.
