Ulianov Chuvash State University, 15 Moskovsky Prospekt, Cheboksary, 428015, Russian Federation Abstract The route technology of production of valves guide bushings of internal combustion engines from a heat-resistant and wear-resistant nanostructured material based on copper powder of the Cu- Al-C-O system containing 0.9% wt. Al and 0.3% wt. C, as well as developed recommendations for the machining of these parts. The need to develop recommendations is due primarily to the fact that such a material has a dispersion-strengthened structure and has a low ductility, which in turn complicates the possibility of machining of the material, especially for the internal through hole. In order to improve the quality of the obtained surface, works aimed at obtaining the most optimal cutting conditions during the operation «vertical drilling» were performed.
