The proposed approach based on the energy method, since in this case it is possible to investigate the change of the deformation forces in time and take into account any conditions of friction of the workpiece against the wall of the working tool. As a result, analytical dependencies obtained, allowing determining the deformation forces and the intensity acting on the tool at any stage of the closed piercing process depending on the geometric and kinematic parameters of the process.
