Ulianov Chuvash State University, 15 Moskovsky Prospekt, Cheboksary, 428015, Russian Federation Abstract The technique and results of comparative tribotechnical tests of the newly developed nanostructured material based on cu-Al-C-O Powder copper system containing 0.9 % by weight are presented. aluminum and 0.3 %by weight. carbon, which showed that this material in its tribotechnical characteristics significantly exceeds both the standard bronze F65 DIN 17666 (domestic analogue – bronze brand Brkn2s), as previously developed nanostructured materials based on copper powder system Cu-Al-Ti-C-O grades 3/01 and 3/03. In particular, the coefficient of resistance of the new material is 2.5 times higher than that of the standard bronze, and the coefficient of its wear resistance exceeds the same parameter for the standard bronze by 17 times. At the same time, in the case of using a new material, the wear resistance coefficient of the coupling of the guide sleeve with the valve will increase by 21 times compared to the coupling containing the guide sleeve made of standard bronze F65. Keywords Valve guides, nanostructured material, dispersion hardening, wear resistance, resistance to scoring, «pad - roller»
