FACTORS DETERMINING THE EFFICIENCY OF APPLICATION OF WEAR-RESISTANT MATERIALS Bogutsky B.V., Ph.D. student, e-mail: bogutskibv@yandex.ru Sevastopol State University, 33 University st., Sevastopol, 229053, Russian Federation Abstract The article shows the relevance of the study various parameters grinding for machining the coated powders obtained by spraying alumina solids and self-fluxing alloys of nickel-chromium- boron - silicon. Conducted a literary analysis of existing works on this topic. The directions of research in this area are considered, the main requirements for the surfaces of coated parts and the choice of abrasive tool characteristics for their processing are formulated. It is shown that to solve the problem of ensuring the required quality indicators of parts when grinding with high- performance circles on a metal binder, it is necessary to conduct a set of additional studies aimed at reducing the height of the waviness of the treated surface.
