Marx st., Cheboksary, 428000, Russian Federation Abstract It is known that it is possible to increase grinding productivity by applying a combined electrochemical grinding process with a diamond tool on a metal bond with its continuous electrode straightening. This creates an additional electrical straightening circuit. If the working space does not allow placing the ruling electrode, then the tool is edited periodically by applying a current pulse of reverse polarity directly to the working circuit. The aim of the work is to study the effect of the duration of the operating current pulses and the editing current on the removal rate of material from samples made of high-speed steel R6M5. It was established that during electrochemical grinding of samples with a diameter of 5 mm made of high-speed steel R6M5, to obtain the maximum material removal rate, it is necessary to set the duration of the operating current pulse 2s and the duration of the current pulse of correction 0.5c.
