N 1-4. 2019 Innovative Technologies in Mechanical Engineering ____________________________________________________________________ 84 PREDICTION OF ACCURACY ON INTERNAL GRINDING OPERATIONS Akintseva A.V. , Ph.D. (Engineering), Senior Lecturer, e-mail: akintsevaav@susu.ru South Ural State University (National Research University), 76 Lenin prospekt, Chelyabinsk, 454080, Russian Federation Abstract Machining accuracy prediction in internal grinding operations is based on the metal removal model which considers machining features in reverse and non-reverse zones and sets interrelation between cutting force, elastic deformations of technological system, cutting depth, program and actual feeds and dimensions of machined surface radii. As a result, it becomes possible to calculate current radii values in any section of the machined surface during the whole grinding cycle for the given machining conditions. Shape of machining surface with diametrical dimensions is constructed on the basis of calculated radii values. Hereinafter there is an estimation of diametrical dimensions` errors, errors of shape and surfaces location (diameters errors, radial runout, departure from roundness, cylindricity, total radial runout, departure of profile longitudinal section) with simultaneous testing of internal grinding operation` productivity. Keywords internal grinding, error, machining accuracy
