Marksa, Novosibirsk, 630073, Russian Federation 2 Saint-Petersburg State Marine Technical University, 3 Locmanskaya Ulitsa, Sankt-Peterburg, 190121, Russian Federation Abstract Nickel-based Inconel 718 alloy sample was built by hight-speed direct laser deposition (HSDLD). After building up the specimen by HSDLD, it was investigated under the ‘as-built’ condition. The analysis of the microstructure sample was done by using light microscopy, which revealed the same condition as the previous studied samples, and TEM. The mechanical properties show higher value in case of longitudinal direction of layers unlike perpendicular direction.
