The article presents the results of research cutting ability of grinding wheels of grain size F16, F24, F30 on a bakelite bond which made of electrocorundum. The values of the grinding coefficients and depth of cut are determined for each abrasive wheel. Comparative analysis of the obtained data showed that abrasive wheels of the brand 36 150x73x56 14A 24 O-P-Q B with a grain size of F24 at a cutting depth of 0.18 to 0.20 mm provide high efficiency of the grinding process.
