Polzunov Altai State Technical University, 46 Lenina avenue, Barnaul, Altai region, 656038, Russian Federation Abstract We consider the introduction of the cutting part of the magnetic abrasive grain into the surface of the workpiece by the finite element method and by solving the equilibrium problem. It is shown that the use of ANSYS Explicit Dynamics allows you to get a fairly accurate calculation and visual image of the process, but requires significant time spent on modeling.
