Polzunov Altai State Technical University, 46 Lenina avenue, Barnaul, Altai region, 656038, Russian Federation Abstract An electrochemical method is used to remove burrs with electrical energy at a specific location on a part. In the details of the fuel equipment there are drainage holes of small diameter, located at an angle to each other. The technological process of making such holes does not provide the desired roughness of the surface to be processed, since at the end of the drilling area, when opening the hole, the metal is not completely cut off, but remains in the form of a Burr. To remove the Burr and dissolve the metal in the area of intersecting holes, it is necessary to install an electrode that is a cathode, which is supplied with a direct current of negative polarity. The processing modes - network voltage (current) and processing time-are of great importance. The paper considers modeling of the material removal process in the Solid Works system. For the created 3D model of a part containing intersecting holes of different diameters, the solid Works system determined the mass of the part. Then, by radius rounding at the intersection of the holes, the material was removed, and the mass of the part after processing was calculated. Knowing the electrochemical equivalent of the material and the change in the mass of the material, the time of the electrochemical process of removing the Burr was determined. The paper presents the calculated data of changes in the mass of the part and the time for processing by electrochemical method. The dependences of material removal on the processing time are given.
