The article shows the relevance of using CAD systems for the design of technological equipment layouts. It is noted that the design process includes a number of calculations, such as force calculation, not included in most CAD systems, and therefore the creation of a force calculation subroutine for a CAD system is an urgent task that requires the development of an algorithm for its operation at the first stage. The purpose of the work: creation of an algorithm for the force calculation of technological equipment for the development of a subroutine for performing force calculation in a CAD system. In the work, on the basis of basic theoretical principles and practical recommendations, the sequence of performing force calculations of technological equipment is described in a formalized form, including the analysis of the proposed basing scheme; selection of schemes of acting forces and moments, clamping device and power drive; calculations of the efforts to fix the part and the characteristics of the drive, as well as the calculation of the deformation of the workpiece. Results and discussion. The algorithm allows you to use the individual experience of the designer and provides for the designer to control all stages of the calculation and, if necessary, to solve, based on their experience and data prepared at previous stages of calculation, arising in the process of calculating complex spatial geometric problems. Based on the algorithm described in the article, a subroutine can be created for the force calculation of technological equipment when it is designed using a CAD system.
