STUDY OF INCREASING EFFICIENCY OF THE CIRCULAR GRINDING PROCESS FROM CLASSIFIED BY THE FORM OF ABRASIVE GRAIN Sazonov S.E. , Ph.D. (Engineering), Associate Professor, e-mail: sesazonov@sevsu.ru Emchenko E.A. , Ph.D. (Engineering), Associate Professor, e-mail: ellis05@mail.ru Strelyanaya Yu.О. , Ph.D. (Engineering), e-mail: joulia.bayrakova@mail.ru Sevastopol State University, 33 Universitetskaya street, Sevastopol, 299053, Russian Federation Abstract Grinding is the finishing method of processing, on which the quality indicators of the finished product are finally formed. The article presents the results of studies of grinding wheels made of graded abrasive grains. Circles made of isometric-shaped grains increase their cutting ability by reducing the load on the grain. Studies have shown that the use of such circles improves the tool life (by 20-25%) and processing performance. Circles made of isometric abrasive grains have less wear and, accordingly, provide better accuracy and quality of processing, the surface roughness is reduced, which ensures higher performance properties of parts. Keywords abrasive processing, abrasive grain, grinding, grinding wheel
