Ulianov Chuvash State University, 15 Moskovsky Prospekt, Cheboksary, 428015, Russian Federation Abstract Simple, accurate and fast design of technological processes for parts processing is one of the important tasks of highly competitive modern production, as well as constant improvement and updating of products. The capabilities of advanced automation systems are becoming wider, but it still remains limited due to the complexity of the algorithmization of creative processes. The most suitable methods for automating creative design tasks are artificial intelligence technologies such as neural networks able to learn, recognize elements, and act intelligently. The use of such algorithms will allow systems to solve more complex problems that a person is engaged in today, thereby freeing up human resources, increasing the development speed, quality and efficiency of technological processes, creating expert systems that help a person make decisions, especially in conditions of many influencing factors.
