Marksa, Novosibirsk, 630073, Russian Federation Abstract The initial stage of general concept development of new machine equipment, which is the creation of a generalized structural scheme of a combined lathe complex for plasma and mechanical treatment, is presented in the article. The individual structural schemes of equipment with computer numerical control on the basis of a lathe for machining and plasma treatment are developed. The structural schemes are integrated into a generalized version of a combined lathe complex, in which different processing methods are combined on one platform. The resulting diagram will serve as the basis for the subsequent stages of equipment design.
