The developed electric heater allows achieving a uniform distribution of the temperature field on the heated surface in a 3D printer. Due to the self-regulation effect, the electric heater is able to maintain the temperature without a static error. The adaptable temperature of the electric heater is set by the supply voltage. The temperature field is measured by a non-contact method using a Testo 875 thermal imager. Due to the fact that the heater surface will contact the surface of the part being built, the temperature field distribution will adapt to the temperature regime at the contact point where the part elements are located Keywords carbon nanostructures, 3D printer, 3D printing, composite material, elastomer, electric heater.
