Modernization includes the stages of transformation of the main motion drive control, retrofitting with electric circuits for the implementation of combined methods of electric diamond machining, as well as the creation of an electrolyte supply, collection and filtration system. The result of the modernization of the equipment is: the expansion of the possibilities for regulating mechanical modes to expand the range of variation in processing speeds, the creation of the possibility of implementing several methods of combined electric diamond machining for comparative studies. The creation of the bench allows studying the processing of high-strength materials by combined methods using various designs of diamond abrasive tools, determining rational modes of technology implementation, and preparing recommendations for the modernization of industrial equipment at enterprises.
