Another important application will be the testing of filtering methods in metrology. The use of digital twin technology causes the transition from standard parameters to an analytical description of the real surface geometry. Products obtained by additive technology have features that distinguish it from products obtained by other processing methods. The real surface of the product is a complex geometric object and contains deterministic and stochastic components. The main scientific idea of this paper is to develop a surface model as a superposition of deterministic and Gaussian components. The deterministic components will be the shape of the surface and the waviness as a result of the motion trajectory of the laser beam. The stochastic components include Gaussian roughness and surface defects. The performed numerical simulation showed good agreement with real surfaces obtained by additive technology.
