Marksa, Novosibirsk, 630073, Russian Federation Abstract Introduction. Rapidly developing modern production requires high efficiency, accuracy, and flexibility from production processes. At the same time, the industry is increasingly using new materials, and in the field of gear processing, much attention is paid to correct geometry. The reasons described above confirm the need to use innovative processing technologies. Purpose of the work: analysis of the relevance of the development and implementation of hybrid equipment for gear processing. Theory. The work analyzes the possibility of integrating a source of high-energy heating with high-frequency currents onto a vertical gear shaping semi-automatic machine 5111. Results and discussion. Methods are identified to reduce the rate of piece production time for a part by reducing auxiliary time, which leads to an increase in efficiency and an increase in accuracy and a reduction in the cost of the product. Keywords Gear processing, gear shaping, gears, heat treatment, hybrid equipment, finishing.
