Ulianov Chuvash State University, 15 Moskovsky Prospekt, Cheboksary, 428015, Russian Federation Abstract The paper presents the development and design of an experimental setup based on the Partner PP-600f universal tool grinder for the implementation of combined electro-diamond grinding (CEDG) and materials machinability research. The relevance of this work stems from the need for high-precision and efficient material processing methods, including those for structural and tool materials, which are increasingly used in various industries such as aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding, and others. The development results in the potential for further modernization of the experimental setup for the implementation of CEDG processes, enhancing the reliability and efficiency of equipment operation. Furthermore, the proposed solutions expand the functionality and improve the reliability and efficiency of the equipment.
