The purpose of the study is to determine the dependence of strength characteristics on the layer deposition direction, which is due to the anisotropy of materials obtained by layer-by-layer manufacturing. The experimental program includes testing of specimens fabricated in horizontal and vertical orientations, including tensile, compressive, and bend tests. The results revealed statistically significant differences in ultimate strength and maximum load for different loading modes. Practical recommendations are aimed at optimizing 3D printing process parameters to improve the quality and durability of finished products. The results of this study can be used to improve manufacturing processes in the field of additive manufacturing. Keywords 3D printing, additive manufacturing (AM), fused deposition modeling (FDM), print orientation, anisotropy, mechanical properties, tensile testing, compression testing, bend testing, material strength
