(Engineering), Professor, e-mail: gofra930@gmail.com Tomsk State University, 36 Prospect Lenina, Tomsk, 634050, Russian Federation Abstract The results of fatigue life studies at normal and elevated temperatures of an Al-Si alloy produced with the addition of recycled raw materials are presented. The prepared alloy was poured using ultrasonic treatment. The studied alloy demonstrated acceptable value of ultimate tensile strength under static loading of 290 MPa and a hardness of 93 HB. Fatigue life curves were obtained, which were used to determine the fatigue limits. The values of the fatigue limits based on 50 million cycles were 63 and 49 MPa at temperatures of 24 and 110 °C Microstructural studies revealed a eutectic structure of the alloy with the inclusion of intermetallic phase particles. Fracture surfaces exhibit defects in the form of pores and shrinkage cavities, which affect their contribution to the fatigue life. Keywords Al-Si alloys, eutectic, fatigue life, fracture, microstructure, structural defects
