Ulyanov Chuvash State University, 15 Moskovsky Prospekt, Cheboksary, 428015, Russian Federation Abstract This paper examines the potential of hybrid technologies for finishing high‑strength composite materials. The purpose of the study is to develop an electrical circuit for controlling electrical parameters using thyristor control in combined abrasive‑electrochemical machining of composite materials. The possibilities of regulating electrical parameters using a thyristor control circuit within the power grid capabilities are explored. The paper proposes the use of an AC power source, which is readily available and does not require AC‑to‑DC conversion, and frequency control of electrochemical processes within the 50 Hz power grid frequency range. The paper also explores the potential for further automation of grinding equipment used in hybrid finishing technology for composite materials. Keywords abrasive processing, combined methods, composite materials, technology control systems, automation.
