Ulyanov Chuvash State University, 15 Moskovsky Prospekt, Cheboksary, 428015, Russian Federation Abstract Today, the processing of thermosetting polymer composite materials is entering a new phase of development. This is due to the emergence of new resins incorporated into promising polymer blends, which offer not only improved performance characteristics but also reduced toxicity. The current approach to designing tooling made from galvanically chromium-plated parts has reached a critical point. New, hard yet corrosion-resistant steels are needed. The domestic range of rolled products is severely limited in size and requires complex heat treatment. New steels are needed. This paper analyzes a promising powder tool steel synthesized using JMatPro 7. The analysis conducted allows us to state that the results are applicable in production practice. Keywords powder steels, adhesion, high hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance
