Specific features of metal melting and transfer during welding and surfacing by a flux cored wire and the influence of the core composition, the mode of welding and the structure of a flux cored wire are described. The efficiency of molten metal protection and technological parameters of flux cored welding are determined by simultaneous melting of a metal jacket and the powder core.
