Kutyshkin The article considers the application of the theory of plasticity applied for determining the cutting forces in high-speed machining of structural steels. For describe mechanical properties of the workpiece material are using Johnson – Cook model. Calculated values of the cutting forces are compared with experimental data and those obtained by using packets LS-DYNA, ABAQUS and SiMPLe and published in the press.
