Tokarev The advantages of plasma spraying with distributed annular injection of powder as compared to point injection are presented in the paper. It is shown that annular injection with gas-dynamic focusing provides for dense axisymmetric heterogeneous flow in contrast to the point injection. It promotes the maximum velocity of the plasma jet and the maximum penetration of particles of sprayed powder. It is shown that in this case physico-mechanical properties of the sprayed coatings are essentially improved.
