The article presents a step-by-step methodology for solving tasks that arise before managers, consultants, mentors, coaches, social workers in the management and development of staff. The main results of the research on the application of the methodology for training and development of personnel for the period 2015-2016 are presented. The main characteristics of coaching as management technology in the work with personnel are considered. Options for improvement based on the systematization of known methods of management and development of personnel are presented. A comparison of the system approach to solving problem situations and technologies of coaching is presented. The methodology is aimed at obtaining results when achieving personal and production goals through managerial communication - "effective questions". In this paper, we will consider working with a team on this method. The dynamics of staff development, the dynamics of changes in the behavior and competence of employees are presented.
